Miranda J.
I attended Robertson College for Community Support Worker, which provided me with the ability to work as an aide as well as my Level 1 ECE certificate. I have worked in a daycare setting for 3 years and have experience with ages ranging from 1 to 13 years. I worked as a room leader for out-of-school care children and for a short time as a room leader for infants. A little about me: My name is Miranda and I am 22 years old. I am creative; I love to color, paint, and create masterpieces as I believe that the best way to express yourself is through art. I am easygoing and energetic; I love to move and be outside, and I am always full of energy. I am overly caring, always putting others' feelings first, and I am dedicated. I have dedicated a lot of my time to working with children. I have wanted to work in a childcare setting since I was a child; this is where I am meant to be. My goal is to become a youth mental health counselor, but I want to take small steps and absorb as many skills as I can working with children. I enjoy the openness children have and their ability to make everyone smile. I always feel like I am a better version of myself when I am working.
I have worked in a daycare setting for 3 years and have experience with ages from 1 to 13 years. During junior high, I started babysitting for different families and felt like this is where I was supposed to be. I have always loved working with children for as long as I can remember.
