Frances A A.
I am aspiring to work with an employer who offers LMIA. While completing my college education, I have found it challenging to gain experience. To support my studies, I work part-time as a babysitter for relatives and previously cared for an American family in the Philippines for a year. I completed my on-the-job training through a cooperative program, which led to my retention at the company for two years due to my attention to detail. I then worked with the Good Shepherd Nuns, supervising students balancing work and studies. After two years, I joined my alma mater as a treasury clerk for three years, later transitioning to a payroll position until May 2024. During this time, I also cared for a distant relative who is a stroke patient, which I am familiar with as I’ve been caring for my father, who also suffered a stroke. My family-oriented nature drives me to support sick family members and take care of my nieces and nephews.
I have experience as a babysitter and housekeeper for an American family living in the Philippines in 2019. Growing up in a family-oriented culture in the Philippines, changing diapers, bathing, playing, and teaching kids aged 0-5 are not new to me since I live with my nieces, nephews, and my baby sister. I am a fond and loving individual, and I am proud that my siblings trust me with their kids, whom I also enjoy taking care of. I can clean, manage their emotions, and play with them.
