Prabhjot K.
My name is Prabhjot, a patient, creative, and organized individual who is passionate about caring for children. Now 29 years old, I am a native Indian who speaks fluent English, Hindi, and Punjabi and is happily settled in Edmonton. I come from a middle-class Sikh family and have recently gotten married in 2023. Though I'm new to the professional field of child care, my love for children extends back to my personal experiences. My compassion for them springs from my belief that they embody the purest form of God. I strive to build strong connections with not only children but also their parents, understanding their emotions and maintaining a positive attitude at all times. I am a non-smoker, willing to offer my services as a Live-Out nanny on a part-time basis. That could involve the role of an ECE, Home daycare, Nanny/Tutor, Babysitter, Mother's Helper, or simply a Nanny. My services are flexible from Thursday to Sunday, including Wednesday evenings. In terms of child care, I am comfortable caring for up to two children, aged 1-2 years. In addition to that, my proficient child care skills extend to assisting with homework, special dietary rules, laundry, bathing, dressing, and meal preparation for kids. As a resourceful woman, I enjoy engaging in household chores such as cooking, cleaning, spending time with pets, reading, and more. Be it light housekeeping, tidying the kitchen, laundry, or supervising other household staff, I am up for it! My educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree, College education, CPR Training, and First Aid. I am open to obtaining a police check on demand. Moreover, I will be available to start immediately upon requirement. I look forward to developing a strong, caring relationship with the family that I work with!
During my childcare work experience in INDIA, I supervised d children to ensure their safety, assisted with daily routines like feeding and dressing, and facilitated educational activities such as arts and crafts, reading, and motor skills development. I supported children’s social and emotional growth through positive reinforcement and helped manage challenging behavior.
