My name is Estefania, but you can call me Stef. My family and I are originally from Ecuador, I grew up in Colombia and came to Canada 11 years ago. With that being said, I am trilingual! Fluent in English & Spanish and very proficient in French as well. I am 19 years old and a student at the University of Alberta, my bachelors is specialized in psychology with a minor in political science. More about me personally, my friends would describe me as bubbly, optimistic and hard working. They might also say that I am fun and that's a review I usually get from the kids I work with too! Getting to be part of a child's journey of getting to know themselves, their talents, their strengths and even weaknesses has always inspired me. There is so much to learn from their resiliency. My first job was as a babysitter at 15. Now that I am nearing 20, I have worked two summers at the YMCA as a camp counsellor, taking care of groups of kids with up to 12 individuals and varying in all ages. I am First Aid and CPR class C certified (I have taken the courses 9 times since I started for various organizations).
