Through my education and many years experience with counselling, and my own life experiences as a mother and caregiver, it is natural for me to establish relational bonds with others, to listen deeply to their whole person and self, and to make my self available, trustworthy, and easy to be around :) Being a mother, was very golden for me and I easily thrive with children all ages; Being with newborns and very young little beings is such a deep privilege, and calls for such delicate atunement and tender care. On my profile photo I am holding my second little grandson, born this summer ...Such joy! But every age is precious, and to explore the world with toddlers, moving about in their innocense and unfiltered ways is magical - I love nature and to discover the outdoors with those little ones... As they grow older and you start having real conversations with them, it get's really interesting - and supporting them in being "who they are" as they face the outer world on their own is so important - I like to be there as a friend and a true mirror reflecting something reliable back to them. But no matter the age, I know I can create a warm, safe and enloyable space to thrive in. As I have many years experience as a mother and housekeeper, I am also able to perform light house keeping when the children don't need my full attention.

I am a certified Counsellor/psychotherapist from Denmark, where I obtained my degree in 2000. I have been seeing clients as a self employed counsellor for 12 years before moving to Canada, and for the last 7 years here in Edmonton. I worked in a daycare in Denmark for 5 years during my studies, and 4 years as a nanny in Edmonton during my immigration process (have excellent refrences from the 2 families)
