I'm an outside the box thinker and problem solver. I have always focused on trying to make everyone's experiences and lives better with a focus on their own unique personalities and needs. I am adaptable and empathic which has lead me to becoming better in the field. I always have room to grow and I'm always looking for ways to do better than I did today. Children are our future. Children are people with their own needs and feelings and I've always strived to make sure they are heard and seen. I'm passionate about my field of work and am proud of what I've learned in my time so far. I am also a certified Level 3 ECE in the province of Alberta and held certificate in Ontario for 6 years before moving to AB. I will be attaining my cpr and first aid again when I am gainfully employed.

I am educated in the ece field, I have my ece diploma from Lambton college, in Ontario. I've worked for the same centre for 6 years and worked with a variety of ages. I was working as both the Sr. Preschool lead and school-age (before and after) program. My fourth year with the centre saw me promoted to assistant supervisor of the centre which lead me to being more active with the staff and their respective rooms. I have great experience with 16 months to 12 years of age. While I have not take the FLIGHT program that Alberta offers I was trained in play base learning and followed our own curriculum called How Does Learning Happen. We were to stay up to date on current practices and implementing HDLH to our programs. This is very similar to the FLIGHT program and follows the same models; just with different names.
