In my free time I love to explore nature and garden. I have a small garden in my apartment and on my balcony that I spend a lot of time with in the spring and summer months. I also love to read and watch baseball, either live at the SkyDome or on TV. I drink copious amounts of hot beverages and rarely go anywhere without a water bottle. My spouse and their son are from Tennessee, so we love to go exploring in the city or the mountains depending where we are. We love the zoo and going to baseball games, as well as exploring national parks and new restaurants. I have a pretty strong immune system and am willing to work extra for things that might keep kids home from school like a fever, vomiting or diarrhea. I am also nonbinary, as is my partner, I use they/them pronouns, and ask that only LGBTQIA+ friendly families contact me. I am very open about my queerness and am not willing to hide that part of me. I started nannying in 2017 for 4 boys — yep! Jumped in feet first to the deep end! I loved it. They were the highlight of my day. One of them has autism and is pretty much nonverbal so there was a learning curve, but I have since worked with other children with autism as well, so I have experience with all of it, including toileting and changing pull-ups. From there I took on a second family with two kids, doing morning drop off. There are now 3 kids and I still do morning drop off with them, making their lunches, getting them out of bed and ready for their busy school days! I started taking care of the youngest one a week after she was born, so have experience with newborns as well. During the pandemic lockdown of 2020 I took the two children for outings wherever we could go when playgrounds were closed and made our own adventures. We would go climb the big rocks at the park or go see the daffodils growing at the high school nearby. We played with maples keys and sang songs on our walks, learning through everyday routines. In 2022 I started with a baby, 10 months old, three days a week. It was so lovely, I absolutely loved watching him explore and learn about the world. In January of 2023 he started daycare and I took on another family with two kids (7&9 at the time). I spent my afternoons with them, helping with homework and getting them to their various activities on time and safely. I made healthy snacks for them before I picked them up from school and then ensured time management to make sure they got everything done, including homework for their various activities (karate, music theory etc).

My name is Annika (Anne-nick-kah), and I am excited to bring my care, creativity, and reliability to your home as a nanny/babysitter. I come from a close-knit and huge (7 children!) family and have always been surrounded by younger siblings and cousins, which naturally sparked my love for caring for children. I pride myself on being nurturing, patient, and dependable, while also bringing fun and creativity into everyday routines. Whether it’s planning engaging activities, helping with homework, or simply being a positive and steady presence, I always aim to create a safe, supportive, and joyful environment for children. Outside of childcare, I enjoy cooking, reading, performing, and traveling. These interests often come in handy, as I love incorporating them into playtime and learning moments. Families I’ve worked with describe me as responsible, adaptable, and trustworthy - someone who balances structure with warmth. Above all, I’m passionate about supporting children’s growth and being a reliable partner for parents. I understand how vulnerable it is to entrust your child's wellbeing to another person, let alone a stranger. It's important to me that you feel safe with my presence, so I'm really looking forward to meeting you and seeing if we're a good fit! I am the third child out of 7 children. I have 3 younger brothers who are at least 8 years younger than me, all born within 3 years from each other. I know how to care for, dress, and feed a toddler and a child. But more importantly, I know how to be kind, empathetic, and loving to a child.

My name is Monroe. I am an English Nanny, originally from the United Kingdom and have dedicated many years of my life to working with children. Being an auntie of three energetic and captivating nephews it has provided me with loads of experiences and happy moments. Throughout my lifetime, I've had the pleasure and joy of caring for many children of different ages and backgrounds, which has given me a deep understanding and love for kids. I love spending time with children; their playful sense of humor always makes me laugh and their boundless energy helps me stay connected with the latest trends that are popular among their age group. When it comes to physical activity and staying energetic, you might say I'm something of a sports enthusiast. I've participated in a wide range of sports throughout my life - from gymnastics and basketball to soccer, track, and field, martial arts, and swimming. Furthermore, I'm also especially fond of outdoor activities like rock climbing and adventuring through cross country trails. As a professional Nanny, one of my highest priorities is to encourage the children I take care of to spend as much time outdoors as possible, whether that's planning a trip to the museum or taking them out exploring the bustling city of Toronto. However, balance is key so indoor activities like reading are integral to a child's development as much as outdoor play. I am passionate about reading; I thoroughly believe that children should read more and I would certainly enjoy reading them bedtime stories. Being active doesn't just stop at sports. I also indulge in regular gym workouts, which help me stay physically fit and mentally alert. When I find some leisure time, I love to watch movies, engage in creative activities, and even take on handy tasks such as assembling furniture. After an exciting day filled with various activities, I am more than happy to assist with cleaning the house and preparing the children for bedtime. Paying close attention to the children is vital because they are rapidly growing. As a Nanny, I understand they need positive role models and guidance to help them navigate the right path in life. I am committed to being that supportive figure they can rely on, regardless of whatever they might be going through, or if they need extra help. The intention behind my dedicated approach is to relieve some of the pressures and demands involved in parenting, giving you peace of mind. So, if you're looking for a dedicated, caring, and experienced Nanny, please get in touch with me. I'd be incredibly delighted to lend a hand, and I look forward to the possibility of working together to provide the best for your children. I am an Auntie myself and have looked after children from the ages between 0-14 (three children at the same time.) I have changed babies and toddlers and fed them when needed. I am always happy to go for walks and take them to the park and do activities to keep them occupied. I also perform chores that are needed within the household. I have helped children with achieving high grades and scores within school.
