I am the mother of 5 beautiful children, 2 gorgeous granddaughters, and 1 handsome grandson. I am 57 years old and the oldest of 9 children. I enjoy camping and the outdoors, fishing, and just sitting around the campfire relaxing. In my spare time when the grandkids go home, I enjoy crocheting, making crafts, padded binders, girls' hair pieces, wedding accessories, and photography. I used to look after a 17-month-old. I would arrive at 5:30 am, and when she woke up at 7 am, I would feed her, change her, dress her, and then take her to daycare. I worked as a nanny in Airdrie. Initially, I cared for two girls, ages 3 and 4. I would get them ready for breakfast, get them dressed, drop them off at daycare, then return to their home to clean, do dishes, laundry, make beds, etc. I also did their grocery shopping and cooked their dinner. After 9 months, baby number 3 arrived, and I looked after him during the day as well because the daycare the girls attended didn't accept babies. Before starting my family, I worked at two daycares for a total of 3 1/2 years. After having my first baby, I took care of a 7-year-old girl and a 5-year-old boy for 3 1/2 years. I am the mother of five beautiful children and a grandmother to three gorgeous grandchildren.

I'm Ben! I am a 39-year-old male who has been working with children and youth with special needs for over a decade. My passion is helping others, and my belief is that working with and teaching young children is one of the most valuable and important jobs that there are. I have been working with 3-5 year old children with special needs in a school setting for the past 3 years but I would like to be doing something that allows me to stay here in Carstairs where I live with my family. I have a wife and two children of my own, a 4-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl. In my spare time I love music, reading, and playing with the kids. I play guitar and enjoy teaching and performing it as well. I have been working with children and young adults, mainly with special needs, for 15 years. For the past 3 years I have been working with 3-5 year olds with special needs in a school setting. I have two children of my own at home as well, 4 and 7, so I am experienced with children from birth onward.

Let's see..... I am an Educational Assistant (Special Needs) by trade. I have worked in the school division "industry" for the past 19 years. My career began in Winnipeg, Manitoba when our children went to school full time. Before our kids were in school, I had a home based day care for 4 years. Our children are now grown and in fact, we are going to be grandparents in February for the first time. As you can see, working with children has always been my main interest. I am now looking for part-time work that still allows me to work with children outside of the school division. Because we live in Carstairs, Alberta, I would prefer a position that does not require a very early start. The winter drive can me terrible at times. An ideal start time would be around 10:00 a. m. depending on where I have to drive to. This is flexible and can be discussed in an interview. I am very comfortable with family pets, and would welcome a position with a family pet. Well, I do have a problem with snakes or spiders. So if you have a family pet that is a snake or a spider, I am not the best fit lol. I have an expectation for a reasonable salary. I have many years experience raising children, running a family home, working with children of all levels (physically and emotionally), and running an home day care for elementary school age children. Your children deserve quality care. There is nobody who can ever replace a parent, but there are people like myself, who will make sure your child has a safe, caring environment when you are not able to be with your child. Thank you in advance for considering me as a care giver for your child. 19 years experience as an Educational Classroom Assistant Mom of Lisa and David (now 27 and 26) Working within a school division provides invaluable training. There are always workshops, professional development days, as well as CPR and First Aid. My CPR and first aid would need to be updated. I have a Criminal Record Check that is valid as of October 9, 2014

At the age of 22, I am a motivated and dedicated individual, possessing qualities such as patience, compassion, and a nurturing spirit. My nature of being supportive and understanding towards others comes naturally to me. It's an important element of who I am, largely influencing the way that I interact with and help those around me. My passion for caring for others is truly at the core of my character. In addition to this, I also have several hobbies and interests that I pursue during my free time. One of my favorites, among many, is cooking and baking. The creative aspect of preparing a meal, the aromatic blend of ingredients, and ultimately creating a dish that can be shared and enjoyed brings me immense satisfaction. I find the entire process to be therapeutic and it's a skill that I take great pride in. It's also important to mention that I bring along six years of substantial experience in administering advanced first aid, CPR, and water safety. Therefore, I am fully equipped to handle emergency situations that require such skills. This extensive background in emergency health services not only furnished me with necessary life-saving techniques, but also taught me the importance of remaining calm and collected during intense situations. In addition to healthcare related skills, I also have experience in maintaining the cleanliness and order of a home. My housekeeping experience includes tasks such as cleaning, sanitizing, decluttering, and organizing different areas of the house. This is another area where I tend to be quite meticulous, as I believe in creating and maintaining a clean, serene, and organized living space. I most recently nannied for a family with two young children, 2.5 years and 7 months. I have 6+ years experience in advanced first aid and CPR. I also have 8 years of experience of babysitting children aged 1-10
