I am a 24-year-old, part-time student, aspiring to become an elementary school teacher. I have always wanted to work with children and now I am looking to shift my career slightly from customer service towards working more with children. This is to gain some vital experience before I complete my schooling. Having a personal reference for my school application would be an added plus, although it is not necessary. If you have any personal questions, please feel free to send me a message; I would be happy to answer them. Currently, I am only looking for part-time work as I am still a part-time student and I also hold a part-time job at a restaurant. Ideally, I am seeking employment for 3-4 days per week. I have done a lot of volunteer work with children over the years. Gaining experience for my schooling has always been a main focus as well as working with children is something that I enjoy in addition to gaining experience. I volunteered with girl guides for about 4 years, I also was a babysitter in high school. I recently got the pleasure of being a personal nanny privately for a family in delta and it was very enjoyable and something I would love to continue doing and gaining experience in. My duties consisted of taking the kids to and from school, as well as sports or activities, running errands if needed like groceries, setting up crafts and activities, etc. Currently working on bachelors degree, I have a first aid certificate but I am not sure if it is expired now but I would be willing to reobtain as well as obtain CPR if a family requires
