I'm Izabel, I'm 23 and I grew up here in Montreal. More specifically, I grew up as part of the Jewish community. I have been volunteering and working with children since the age of 12. I have been a tutor, a camp counsellor, a pre-school teachers assistant, and primarily, I have worked as a special needs companion. I have always had a love for music, and play a few instruments, including piano, ukulele, and I love singing. I studied Music and Social Sciences in CEGEP, before moving to Ottawa for 3 years to study Forensic Psychology. Last year, I moved to Tel Aviv for 5 months to intern at a special needs daycare centre. I love to learn, and would always be open to new hobbies and experiences. This includes learning about your children's interests! I love astronomy because of a child I worked with who sparked my interest, and have learned so much by letting kids teach me by following their lead. I do set strict boundaries and will ensure that whatever rules and routines you have with your children will be followed, while also letting them tell me what they may need or want in that moment.
