My name is Penelope (or Penny) and I began babysitting at age 12! I am 20 years old and am from Vancouver, BC. I moved to Montreal with my family when I was 12 because my dad accepted a teaching position in McGill's department of anthropology. I have 2 younger siblings, Lucy (17) and Harry (13) whom I am extremely close to, and helped take care of while we were growing up. While living in Vancouver my dad was regularly on areological digs abroad, and with my mother working full time, I gained lots of experience taking care of my younger siblings. I have recently graduated from Vanier College in the Communications, Media & Studio Arts program and have just started at Concordia University majoring in Film Production. I have always wanted to purse the arts. As a child I took piano lessons and acted in theatre groups and then attended F.A.C.E. high school which focuses on an education in the arts. The past few years I have been working on my portfolio to build a career in the film industry. I am very hands on and enjoy playing games and doing crafts! Besides film, my two biggest hobbies are knitting and rock climbing. I have always loved spending time with kids and taking care of them. I think my love for art has helped me to build strong and trusting bonds with children that I have met and/or taken care of because we can share this activity together. I am very safety conscious, reliable, patient and work well in chaotic environments.

I started babysitting when I was 11, only ever for one child at a time. However I have 2 younger siblings who as the eldest sibling, I have been taking care of them since I can remember.
