My name is Leigha, & I live in Coquitlam. I don't have children of my own, but everyone who knows me says I should have been a mother. I am great with children, & they naturally gravitate towards me. I have a friendly, warm, & calm disposition, which makes them feel safe & secure with me. I like to encourage good values, manners & behaviour, as well as safety & being helpful in a productive & constructive way. Patience, calmness, & consistency are crucial ways of setting a good example. I believe that every adult in a child's life plays a role in teaching & shaping them into who they will become, & I find that to be very important. This is a massive opportunity & responsibility! I also think it's important to be interactive, fun, & playful. I enjoy engaging in immersive, hands-on activities like crafts, nature walks, singing, games, & encouraging learning. I currently run an independent sales business in healthcare and have a flexible schedule.

I started out doing a lot of babysitting from a young age; from my younger cousins & sisters to family friends, neighbors etc. I was always told I was the favorite babysitter! I have also looked after children with special needs; a few with ADD & ADHD, as well as one boy with Cerebral Pulsey when I was only 17. I also had step-kids for 10 years. I now greatly enjoy looking after my niece & my friends kids from time to time.

I have take First Aid Level one however it is now expired.
