Jennifer M.
Hello! I'm Jennifer, a 30-year-old with a passion for caring for kids. I have a background as an occupational therapist, with over 3 years' experience in working with a wide variety of children; from toddlers to adolescents, those with and without special needs, including children with autism, Down syndrome, ADHD, other cognitive disabilities, and those needing sensory stimulation from a young age. Education wise, I have a master's degree and I have accomplished diverse courses like certified nanny training, college child education courses and basic first aid, aiming to best equip myself to provide a nurturing and enriching environment for children. I'm known for my empathy, commitment and creating a fun, loving, safe space where children can explore and grow emotionally, socially, and cognitively. I love sparking a child's curiosity and imagination through outdoor play and sensory activities and I'm always there to support them with their tasks or homework. In terms of availability, I'm free and flexible throughout the entire week, from morning to evening for both part-time or full-time positions. Additionally, I'm open to performing a variety of duties such as cooking, light housekeeping, laundry, pet care, meal preparation, and adhering to any special dietary rules your children may have. I'm seeking to work as a nanny, and I'm open to positions in home daycare, nanny/housekeeping, babysitting, and tutoring, too. Ideally, I prefer a live-out arrangement, and I'm comfortable in taking responsibility for two children at most. I'm based in Coquitlam and ready to start immediately. My main aim is to offer your child or children the care, attention and stimulation they need, while providing you with peace of mind. Reach out and let's talk about how I can assist your family!
