My name is Drew, I am a 19-year-old from Cochrane, AB. I have grown up in a vibrant family of 6, where I am the youngest and my 3 older siblings are triplets! After taking a gap year this year, I am starting school in September at Mount Royal University in hopes of becoming an elementary school teacher or a day care worker. I am looking for a summer position as a nanny before I start school! I am committed to providing compassionate, trustworthy care that caters to your child's individual needs. I have a strong passion for caring for children and have experience with kids across various age groups - between 1 and 13 years old. I am available to work Monday, Wednesday, Friday and most weekends. I prefer a live out position and can start as early as July 1st! My background equips me well for this role as I have a CPR Level C and first aid certifications as well as an up to date background check if necessary. In September- December 2025, I was an au pair in Barcelona, Spain, where I cared for 3 children ages 1, 2, and 4. Since January 2026, I have been working as a nanny for 2 separate families- ages 3 and 1 in one family and ages 5 and 1 in the other. So I have plenty of nannying experience. I have also been babysitting since the age of 13 and worked at Spray Lakes Sawmills as a summer camp leader for 2 years in a row (2023-2024). During my free time, I love staying active with sports such as hockey or skating, golf, pickleball, weightlifting or Pilates/yoga. During my downtime, I like to unwind with TV shows/movies, puzzles or a colouring book. I have a lot of experience with working with children! I started babysitting at the age of 13 for family and friends and since then have loved caring for children. I worked as a summer camp leader in 2023 and 2024 where I worked with children aged 5 all the way to 13. The duties that came with this position included planning activities, caring for up to 8 children at the same time, engaging with them and of course ensuring the safety of the kids. I have also coached both hockey and soccer with children aged 4-10. Part of this role was not only teaching them the physical skills of their sport but also how to be a good teammate, how to work hard, to practice even when it is hard, healthy competition and of course how to have fun while playing a sport! I am now currently working as an au pair (a live in nanny) in Barcelona, Spain, where I am caring for 3 children ages 1, 3 and 4. This job requires me to help with morning and bed time routines, take kids to and from school, fold laundry, prepare some meals, clean the kitchen and keep the rest of the house tidy.
