My name is Emily, and I’ve lived in Cochrane my whole life. I recently graduated from high school and am currently taking a gap year to explore my interests and see what path I’d like to take next. Being the oldest of four children, I naturally grew up in a family-oriented environment where responsibility, patience, and leadership quickly became a big part of who I am. I’ve always loved being outdoors, whether it’s going for walks, exploring nature, or staying active through different activities. I’d describe myself as kind, outgoing, and nurturing, and I truly enjoy connecting with people and creating a positive environment around me. I’m also certified in First Aid and CPR, and I have over five years of hands-on experience working with children. Through this, I’ve developed strong skills in communication, problem-solving, and adapting to different needs and personalities. Caring for kids has always come naturally to me, and I find it very rewarding to support their growth, creativity, and confidence. Overall, I’m excited to continue learning, growing, and gaining new experiences during this next chapter of my life, while also sharing the skills and values I’ve built so far.

Over the past 5 years I’ve taken on a variety of different childcare roles. Previously my responsibilities included cooking, light cleaning, pet care, homework, bed time/nap time, bath time, arranging playdates and keeping the kids entertained. I’ve worked with kids of all ages and I have experience taking care of up to 4 kids at once. I would describe myself as a patient, caring and nurturing person. I love trying new activities and being outside. I’m creative, kind and personable and would love the opportunity to meet your family!!
