Hi! I'm Miah, a 17-year-old, caring nanny with a love for childcare and 2 years of diverse experience. I offer a grounded understanding of children's developmental milestones as I've worked with children of different age ranges, from infants to preteens (1-2 years, 3-5 years, 6-9 years, and over 10 years). My skills are not limited to only providing care; I'm also competent in preparing nutritional meals, doing their laundry, light housekeeping, running errands and grocery shopping, and transporting children, which I manage with my personal vehicle and valid driver's license. Throughout the week, from Monday to Sunday, I am available full-time, whether morning, midday, or evening, to be by your side ensuring your children's well-being. Despite my flexible schedule, I am Cochrane-based and unfortunately, I am unable to relocate or travel far. I have Certified Nanny Training and past two years of first aid training in my approach to caring for children, and rest assured, I do not smoke and I can swim well, which adds to my suitability to ensure a safe environment for your kids. I am perfectly comfortable with pets too, thanks to my innate love for all animals. Beyond just a job, I am keen on helping children explore their abilities, learn new things, and simply enjoy their time. My interests in drawing, history, outdoor hiking adventures, and music can contribute positively to your children's developmental experience. In addition, I have proficiency in English and Spanish, which could be beneficial for your kids' linguistic growth or your communication needs. Currently, I'm seeking either a full-time or part-time nanny, babysitter, or nanny/housekeeper role where I can best utilise my skills on a live-out basis. When it comes to work, I can comfortably look after up to two children. Though I'm willing to get a police check and I assure that I'll start from June 14, 2024.
