Sophie C.
I'm Sophie, a young woman studying Psychology and Linguistics at the University of Ottawa. Raised in a family of six, I developed a passion for childcare at an early age, further deepened through interactions with children at church. My education combined with my natural empathy enables me to address the physical and emotional needs of children effectively. Over five years, I've gained experience with different age groups from infants to older children. I love arts, especially music and drawing which I believe, along with my nurturing persona, enriches children's all-round development. Despite academic demands, I'm available part-time with flexible hours. Ideally, I'm seeking a live-out part-time babysitter position caring for two children. My responsibilities may include children's basic needs, homework assistance, transport, meal preparation, laundry, and ironing. Please note my availability from April 1st, 2026. I hope to bring my passion and experience to your family.
Regularly cared for my two younger siblings while my parents worked, managing their daily routines: ensuring they were fed, completed their homework, and were in bed by their designated bedtime. Currently babysitting two children under 10, where I am responsible for their full morning routine: waking them up, getting them dressed, eating their pre-made breakfast, and driving them to school on time each day. Over the years, numerous families have trusted me with the care of their children, reflecting the reliability and confidence I bring to every family I work with.
