We have an in-ground pool at my house so depending on if your family is comfortable, that is a fun option for going to the pool to get out of the heat in the summer time. with lots of sunscreen and plenty supervision to ensure safety. I also love to walk at the river and if your child enjoys the outdoors then that could be made a weekly/ daily thing.
