Family is the center of my world. After attending Queen's University I came back to my roots in Lanark County and the greater Ottawa region. I've always been at my happiest in the middle of nature - being on the water, horseback riding, biking, and hiking with our dog. Life, as always, has a way of changing course without notice. I enrolled at Algonquin College as an adult, spent time as an EA (Educational Assistant), helped care for an ailing family member, and am now a happy mother of three. Being a Mother is by far the best thing I've ever done. My two boys are now on their own but I'll happily do their laundry and send baked goods their way. Anything to encourage them to come home so I can hear their laughter fill the house again. My youngest is still with me, and like me is all about horses and the wilds. Moving forward, I want to offer my care, compassion, and experience to families who could use a helping hand. That's where my heart is.
