Ella Shea G.
I'm Ella Shea, a 19-year old nanny from Stittsville, looking for a full-time or part-time role as a nanny or babysitter. My passion is working with children, regardless of their age, and I take much pride in being a registered Early Childhood Educator. I graduated from St. Lawrence College's Early Childhood Education program and am currently pursuing my bachelor's degree in early childhood at Algonquin. I have 2 years of experience in child care, including working with special-needs children and supervising infants to adolescents. I am available to work all seven days of the week, encompassing mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Family is my focus and providing a safe, nurturing environment is my aim. I am comfortable with various duties like cooking, light housekeeping, running errands, grocery shopping, bathing and dressing children, helping with homework, and ensuring dietary requirements are met. Alongside, I also have the valid driver's license and a vehicle for transportation duties. Being a swim instructor in my background equips me to ensure your kids' safety around water. I don't smoke and I can immediately start working with a maximum of three children. I can also offer pet care if needed, as my love for animals stems from having grown up with a range of dogs and fostering a variety of breeds since I was eight. In terms of accreditations, I have a first aid training, CPR training, and police check clearance. I can assure you that my dedication and hard work will be reflected in my commitment to your child’s development and happiness. Please note, my preference is for live-out arrangements as I am not willing to relocate or travel outside of my locality. So if you're in need of a caring, animal-loving, swimming nanny with a strong educational background in early childhood education, do not hesitate to contact me.
I recently graduated from St Lawrence Colleges early childhood education program where I completed three student placements. Over last summer, I worked full-time as a daycare teacher in a toddler room. Now I’m working in the infant room at the same daycare. I also have a background as a swim, instructor meaning I’ve completed all of my swim courses, including national life, saving and water safety instructor part 1 and 2. I worked the two previous summers full-time as a swim instructor with all ages. In high school, I volunteered with the special needs program during my lunches, which is where I found my passion for working with children.
