My name is Laura and I am 18 years old, located in Ottawa. I have a great passion for children, their wellbeing and promoting positive development for our future generations. I am outgoing, and enthusiastic which has allowed bonding with children to come very easy to me. I love to plan and execute fun, educational activities that do not involve any screens or electronics to promote childrens creativity and learning, while keeping entertained. I have a background in hockey and gymnastics, I love to be active and do activities outdoors, aswell as I love to be creative, and do arts and crafts. I am patient, reliable, and able to adapt to each child's unique needs.

I have babysat for multiple families throughout my adolescence. I spent my 11th and 12th-grade years enrolled in a "parenting" class, where we hosted a playgroup and had one-on-one time with a child three times a week for the semester. I am also currently a supply teacher at The Children's Place childcare center.
