I'm Nancy, a lively and enthusiastic 62-year-old from Stittsville. Even though I don't have formal nanny work experience, I come from a large, close-knit family and have raised a daughter of my own, who's now studying at university. I find joy in having lots of energy, being an avid cyclist, gym enthusiast, and having a passion for sewing and crafting. Spending time with children while doing crafts and creative projects is something I absolutely love. As a minimalist, I keep the house tidy and I excel at finding solutions or fixing things around the house. I'm also quite versatile in the tasks I can perform, from cooking, shopping, and housekeeping, to assisting kids with homework, ironing their clothes, preparing meals, and even organizing events. I see myself as your perfect Mother's Helper, Babysitter, and Nanny, and I'm open to both Full-Time and Part-Time employment. As a live-out nanny, I'm ready to start working immediately. My availability is quite flexible, with open hours morning, evening, and night on weekdays, Saturday evenings, and Sunday nights. Even though I have no formal experience, I'm confident in caring for newborns, toddlers, pre-schoolers, and older kids up to 9 years of age. Experienced with before and after-school care, as well as newborn care, in the home years ago while being a stay-at-home mom. Worked weekends with a local seniors agency for 3 years providing companionship in home and in retirement residences. I also have years of experience as a Girl Guide leader and as a Stittsville story time volunteer, ESL tutor for new Canadians. I am very active and fit with tons of energy. Recently, I left the corporate world and am now working on my next steps. I love children and seniors alike, am caring, warm, responsible, creative, and patient.
