My name is Eileen, a 15-year-old high school student with a vibrant Mexican-Canadian heritage. I reside in Cambridge where I live with my loving family and two treasured pets; a dog and a cat. These beloved pets of mine have helped me nurture my skill in responsibility and caregiving. My hobbies include indulging in the creative arts, music, and cooking, activities that I tend to incorporate into the care I provide. As an individual, I have honed my problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities through my academic journey. I have a knack for thriving and leading in team settings, which I believe makes me well suited for a babysitter role. I am confident in my abilities and my responsible, hardworking nature. Although I do not have previous work experience, my desire to foster growth and provide care for children makes me an exceptional candidate. I am able to start part-time work from the 26th of January, 2025, and my schedule allows me to be available over the weekend - specifically Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. I strongly believe that my reliability coupled with those hours, could cater to those families who need a babysitter on short notice or for late-night emergencies. In terms of duties, I am well prepared to cook and make meals for children, take care of children's laundry, help them bathe and dress. I am also able to assist with homework, adhere to special dietary rules, clean the kitchen space, walk pets, take care of family laundering needs and handle other household staff effectively. I am comfortable working with children within the age range of 3-10 years and over, and can adeptly handle up to two children. Finally, my education has equipped me with CPR training and First Aid skills which prove vital in a child care setting.
