I have always enjoyed working with children and have so since I was a teenager. I love travel and learning new cultures and traditions and in turn showing a little of my own.

I have multiple years of experience with children in various settings. Beginning with running summer camps as a teenager, babysitting for friends and family who children’s ages range from newborn to teenager. Additionally, In 2009 I graduated college with an LPN diploma. While working in this field, I spent time on a maternity ward taking care of newborns ranging from a few hours to a few days old. Following this I embarked on a career change which took my passion of working with children abroad. I was a live-in nanny/ au pair around the UK from 2016-2018 and then around Ireland from 2018-2020. During my time in Europe I looked after children aged 2-10, I assisted two of my host families and the children on international vacations, and all host families on national vacations. Upon returning to Canada I had a desire to continue experiencing as much culture as I could. I became a day home supervisor in Cambridge Bay, Nunavut. I was in charge of up to six children at a time with ages ranging from 8 months old to 10 years old. In addition to general care, my helper and I practised traditional/ cultural care. Finally, upon returning to Alberta I completed my LPN refresher course and graduated with distinction in 2022. I worked for a little while but quickly realised that my passion has always been working with children and I took a nanny job in Ottawa. My current contract is now coming to an end and I am looking to return to Alberta.

I took my LPN and graduated with my diploma in 2009.
