I am a fully trained cook and housekeeper. I am looking for immediate full time employment as a caregiver, housekeeper, family sitter or family assistant. I am willing to drive 20 kms for the wonderful family that needs my help. I am outgoing, friendly and easy going. I will care for your children as my own family. My children are now 30 years old (daughter) and 34 years old (son) with special needs. I have 15 years in Guides and Scouts. I know almost any craft or activity. Since my kids are grown, you could describe me as mature, but that does not mean strict. I am active and love sports. I play basketball, soccer, Tball, baseball and tennis. I can ride a bike or teach kids. I am happy to meet and help you if we have a good fit.

I have been looking after children since mine were born. I have 27 years experience. When my son was 1 year old, I also sat for a 9 month old. It worked perfectly as they grew up together. The same mom had her second 12 weeks before me. My daughter grew up with her daughter. I am comfortable with group sittings up to 4 or 5 children depending on their age and how they relate to each other. With Guides and Scouts, I learned many crafts and activities over 15 years, If I do not know it, I can invent it. Eg: game chores, scavenger hunt. I am familiar with motivational skiils at every level. I can diaper a child from newborn to 2 years old and potty train an older child. I am familiar with childhood diseases and problems. I can handle a tantrum etc. I can keep a schedule whether it is mine or the children's. I like a chore or to do list as it keeps me focused. I can drive for errands or activities. I can take kids swimming or to the park or the zoo. Basically would like to have fun with children. I can run your errands, get your groceries or medications. I can clean your house, give kids a bath, do your dishes, vacuum and make your meal while you relax. I am the all in one package you have been looking for. Additional Experiences/Qualifications: I would prefer to work regular daytime hours 7am - 4pm. or 8 am - 4pm, or something similar. It could be Tuesday to Saturday or Monday to Friday with optional weekends. I can extend if the family fit is good. It would be a joint decision as to the families needs. I can start later and stay later if the family needs that.
