Courtney B.
I am a 30-year-old Bachelor of Midwifery student at Mount Royal University, taking a year off and am available from June 2025 to end of August 2026. I am a creative person; I would love to organize creative and physical activities to support your child’s well-being and development. I am a detail-oriented person; I can manage schedules, clean your house, prepare balanced meals, accommodate food sensitivities, count macros, etc. I am an empathetic person; I truly care and will communicate any insights I have during my time shared with your child. I am flexible; I can accommodate your schedules and I am happy to drive your children to all their activities, run errands, and whatever else may come up along the way! I own a reliable vehicle and have been driving for 14 years. I have a clear vulnerable sector police check dated ~3 years ago; I am open to getting another one if it is important to you.
I have completed 2 midwifery practicums where I cared for newborns from birth to 6 weeks old; and I have experience nannying for a family with children aged 3 and 5 where I did school drop-off/pick-up, homework help, light cleaning, prepared meals, and activities. I have experience connecting with children of all ages through various babysitting jobs over the years.
I am certified as a Basic Life Support Provider with the Heart & Stroke Foundation which covers child CPR and choking relief. It's been years since I did an actual First Aid course; however, since completing half a Bachelor's in Midwifery, I have gained a solid foundation of knowledge relative to infection control, emergency procedures, basic first aid, etc. Currently I am taking time off school and am available to nanny from now until end of August 2026.
