I am a caring, responsible, and energetic individual with a strong background in healthcare, childcare, and community involvement. I have experience working in a medical office environment, where I developed strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills while learning the importance of patience, compassion, and creating a welcoming environment for people of all ages. My passion for working with children comes from my many years of experience supporting and caring for children in different settings. I have helped in a dayhome environment, where I assisted with daily routines, playtime, learning activities, and creating a safe and nurturing space for children to explore and grow. I have also provided babysitting outside of regular hours, including evening and overtime care, which has allowed me to build strong relationships with families and become comfortable adapting to different children’s personalities, needs, and routines. I have also volunteered with my youth group supporting children with special needs, which has been one of the most rewarding experiences for me. This opportunity taught me the importance of patience, empathy, understanding, and making sure every child feels included and valued. I enjoy finding creative ways to connect with children, whether through games, crafts, outdoor activities, learning opportunities, or simply being someone they feel comfortable around. My experience in healthcare has strengthened my ability to be responsible, attentive, and dependable, especially when caring for others. I understand how important trust is when families are choosing someone to care for their children, and I always prioritize safety, kindness, and creating a positive experience. Outside of work and volunteering, I enjoy spending time outdoors, staying active, exploring new activities, and spending time with family and friends. I truly enjoy being around children and take pride in creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where they can feel happy, confident, and cared for.

- Assistant dayhome helper; helped my mom manage her dayhome, plan and take part in activities with the children based on their skill level and age, planned food meals based on different nutrition groups, cleaned and ensured there was a safe dayhome environment, took care of children after dayhome hours in case they needed overtime care, helped children find activities to do that were engaging and based on their likings - Volunteer annually at a Special Needs Day program with my Youth Group where children of Special Needs are able to come and enjoy a fun day full of activities and different things to keep them busy
