I am a 20-year-old female who loves children, cooking, pets, cleaning and organizing. I am a third-year Chemistry major at the University of Calgary, so I can assist children with their math or science homework, which I find enjoyable. I love hanging out with children, playing games, telling stories, helping them get ready, and answering all their questions - even skillfully avoiding ones they shouldn't know the answer to. I have a passion for music and have spent my life playing various instruments. I even spent a year teaching piano to a student and have informally instructed a few children in ukulele. In addition to piano, I also love playing the guitar, viola, ukulele, saxophone, and cello as well as singing. I tend to have more energy than the average 20-year-old and take great pleasure in playing children's games. Although I consider myself humorous, I also know when to be stern and am comfortable asserting myself to prevent children from getting out of control. My family resides in Saskatchewan and, therefore, finding a family here in Calgary to forge a bond with would make this city feel more like home. I have a second job as a barista at Starbucks, a position I have held for four and a half years. My schedule is flexible, and I can adjust my availability easily to fulfill any requirements. Until the end of April, I have my university commitments to manage, with my last day falling on April 27. After that, my schedule is open, and I am available to work as needed. However, during the school term, I am mostly available in the evenings, overnight, and on weekends. I absolutely love getting to know new people and would be very happy to have you welcome me!

I worked an an early learning centre for either months a few years ago. I was the pre school teaching assistant and my responsibilities were to ensure the kinds were behaving, cleaning after themself, being respectful of the toys they were using and the other children, providing them with fun activities, as well as teaching them a=how to do small tasks (e.g. grow a plant). Along with this I have some experience babysitting my relatives.

Currently 3rd year university getting my bachelor's in science with a major in chemistry.
