I'm Eleanor, a 19-year-old young woman from the UK, now residing in Calgary. I'm a student of Criminal Justice at Mount Royal University and in the midst of studying, I've gained 5 years of working experience as a nanny and babysitter. Having grown up with two younger siblings, I developed a passion for childcare early in life while helping my busy parents. I'm an avid outdoor enthusiast, loving activities like skiing and hiking. However, I'm just as content curling up with a good book or watching a film. My belief in the importance of creativity is a part of what makes me standout as a caregiver. I enjoy fostering imaginative play among children, which I find is a key aspect of their development.. I'm capable of performing a range of duties including cooking, light housekeeping, meal preparation for kids, children's laundry, helping with homework and special dietary needs, pet care, organizing and planning events, and much more. Moreover, I can also work with children with disabilities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. My educational qualifications include High School graduation, College, First Aid Training and CPR Training. I am willing to obtain a police check for additional peace of mind. I'm available for child care duties full time or part time, during the day and evening, from Monday to Friday, and in the mornings and early afternoon during the weekends. Please note, I hold a driver's license but I don't have a vehicle for use on the job. However, I'm open to traveling as needed.
