I’m Alleana, a bubbly and caring licensed practical nurse residing in the SE of Calgary. With my clinical background in general medicine, memory care, and acute rural environments, I have gained experience working with a handful of medical conditions, including several chronic diagnoses like COPD, ostomies, diabetes, and wounds. My clinical rotations have also included labour and delivery and community health with children! I am a proud pet parent to my two adorable boys, my Holland lop bunny Olive, and my Yorkie puppy Archie. During my free time, I find joy in tending to my house plants and practicing the piano. Grounded in compassion, empathy, and mutual respect, I seek to establish authentic and meaningful relationships with those I care for. I am currently seeking a full-time or part-time position as a Nanny/Housekeeper or Babysitter. With my flexibility, I can assure my availability from mornings till nights throughout the week. Ready to start immediately, I am happy to undertake multiple responsibilities, including cooking, light housekeeping, running errands, grocery shopping, meal preparation for kids, child transportation, assistance with homework, adhering to special dietary rules, and maintaining kitchen tidiness, as well as walking dogs and pet care. In addition to my LPN degree, I hold First Aid and Basic Life Support training, fortifying my ability to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children. I would prefer to care for up to three children at a time, and I welcome the opportunity to work with children or family members with disabilities given my specialized experience.
