Yetunde O.
My name is Yetunde, but everyone calls me Yetty 🙂. I’m a gentle, patient, and caring person who absolutely loves being around children. With over two years of experience caring for little ones especially babies and toddlers . I’ve become great at creating routines that help them feel safe, loved, and happy. Whether it’s keeping a good sleep schedule, preparing healthy meals, singing songs, going on walks, or finding fun ways to make them smile, I always put my heart into what I do. Families I’ve worked with describe me as warm, reliable, and easy to talk to. When I’m not caring for children, I enjoy cooking, organizing, reading, and exploring new places. I believe every child deserves a calm, positive, and nurturing space and that’s exactly what I love to create wherever I go.
I truly love spending time with children, especially babies and toddlers. I’m naturally patient, gentle, and very attentive to their needs. I have over two years of experience caring for little ones in daycare and camp settings. At Buena Vista Estate Daycare in Nigeria, I cared for babies around 4-18 months by organizing story time, play activities, and creative learning sessions that helped them feel safe and happy. I always made sure each child felt included and loved. In Canada, I volunteered as a Children’s Summer Camp Coordinator at Rhema Chapel in Edmonton, where I led fun daily activities, songs, and games for toddlers. I enjoy helping children learn, express themselves, and build confidence through play. Caring for kids brings me joy, and I treat every child like family with warmth, patience, and respect.
