Hana P.
My name is Hana! I have worked with kids for many years, babysitting since I was 12 and being an overnight camp counsellor when I was 17 and 18. I am very artistic and love to create anything, from writing music to painting. I love to play my guitar, sing, and paint and draw. I also love a good walk outside on a sunny day. I am attending the University of Calgary, working towards my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I have amazing organizational skills and see everything in life as a puzzle. I enjoy working with neurodivergent children, and being neurodivergent myself, I have another level of understanding of how they think and function. I am capable of minor cleaning tasks, such as maintaining laundry cycles and cleaning dishes. I can also cook basic meals as long as I have a recipe. As a student, I am looking for an afternoon/evening position. Depending on location, I could start at 430 pm on Monday, and 5pm on Thursday. Unfortunately I am not available consistently on Tuesday and Wednesday as I am currently doing my clinical shifts those days. Friday and Saturday, I am available all day. However, I would like to continue attending church on Sundays, so I cannot start till 1230 pm.
I have worked at an overnight summer camp for two years in a row, as well as many different week-long day summer camps. I have done babysitting since I was 12, working with autistic and ADHD kids as well. I have worked with younger children aged 0-3 in the church nursery. Even though I am only 19, I have tons of experience with kids and love working with them. I have only put two years of experience, as the positions have been sporadic and not always one after the other.
