Chloe J.
My name is Chloe and I am currently in my second year of a Political Science and Economics dual degree at UofC! I have loved kids for as long as I can remember and am really hoping to go into teaching after I finish my undergrad. I try to always maintain a cool, calm and collected approach to the kids that I work with, empathy and understanding needs to be at the forefront of every interaction in my opinion! In my personal time I absolutely love to read, paint and go for hikes with my two dogs! I grew up in a very large Polish family so I have grown up taking care of kids and around my family, apart from that I have worked almost exclusively with children for the duration of my professional life! I have some previous experience with mental disabilities and children (Severe ADHD, Autism and ADD predominantly) with reduced mobility from the last two summer-camps that I worked in. I am more than open to learn and create a plan in order to best support your children's needs! With a background in CPR and a passion for children's well-being, I hope to build genuine connections and trust to have as much fun as possible! I offer comprehensive care that includes tending to your families need including housekeeping, meal prep, and pet care services. As a dedicated nanny, I prioritize your child's safety and happiness, offering personalized attention and engaging activities to support their development. I bring a wealth of experience in childcare, and I am committed to creating a warm and loving environment for your little ones to thrive. If you are seeking a reliable and compassionate nanny to join your family this summer, please do not hesitate to message me. I am eager to discuss how I can support your family's needs and provide exceptional care for your children. If you would like any further information please reach out! :)
I grew up babysitting in my neighbourhood (as did most!) which is where I discovered my absolute love of children. My formal work experience includes my previous roles include Toddler Swim Instructor at the YMCA for 13 months. Following that I worked at a Summer Camp specializing in physically and mentally disabled youth in Quebec called Camp CESAM for 2.5 months and this past summer I worked as a Supervisor for Royal City Soccer Camp. Currently I am working at another Soccer Club, but with the season coming to an end I am hoping to find something a bit more permanent that still offers flexibility! Beyond my formal experience, I grew up as the oldest of 18 cousins (big Polish families! haha) and have thus grown up taking care of kids from the newborn stage! I put four years for experience but honestly it's probably more like over 10 with all the diapers I had to change when I was young!! Let me know if you want any references or further details about my previous roles :)
Received specialized in-sport training for first aid treatment of acute outdoor injuries (re-certified in 2023) National Lifeguard Certification (2019) and I got a recent Vulnerable Sectors Police Clearance in January of 2025 for my current position!
