Dee L.
I'm Dee, a 53 year-old with a whopping 14 years of rich experience in childcare and housekeeping roles. I am a proud grandma, known as an 'Ama', of two granddaughters living in Australia. I don't get to visit them often, but I make sure we have the grandest of times when we do. My love for the outdoors is second to none. From exploring playgrounds and cycling to playing ball or basketball, and even rollerblading - I am all for it! In the warmer months, I also utilize my Auburn Bay lake access for beach activities, and I can guarantee your children a fun-filled, sun-kissed summer. As a nanny and a housekeeper, I value structure and respect parenting styles. Rest assured, from adhering to dietary rules to helping with homework, I am comfortable with a wide range of tasks, such as cooking, light housekeeping, running errands, laundry, and much more. I am also capable of looking after your pets or walking the dog when required. Moreover, my skill set expands to supervising other household staff and planning events. I am open to both full-time and part-time roles and am ready to start working from Feb 1, 2026. I prefer a live-out arrangement and am available throughout the week, round the clock. I am prepared to work with four or more children, and engage with all age groups - from newborns to teenagers. Notably, I am also equipped to work with children who have special needs, thanks to comprehensive first aid and CPR training. I am looking for opportunities as a nanny, mother's helper, babysitter, or a special needs caregiver. I believe my years of experience and versatile skill set will allow me to provide the best care and create a fun, nurturing environment for children within your family. I look forward to meeting you.
On top of being able to help raise my granddaughters before they moved. I’ve had the opportunities to be a nanny for a family in Auburn Bay for many years looking after two boys and a little girl. Also at the same time I looked after a little one year-old before they moved back to BC. I also helped out a family in Auburn Bay in the morning with three boys. I have just finished helping out a family of 4 with a 13 year old boy with severe autism and non-verbal and his younger sister who has a severe portion allergy.
