I am , A RCI certified Special Needs Educator as well as a TRO registered Recreation Therapist. I have been in the field of Special Education since 2016, have work experience for over 6 years and also did various Internships in different types of disabilities organizations, Special organizations, and Inclusive schools like Amity International School, The Blind Relief Association, Srishti Institute For Child & Adolescent Mental Health etc. to upgrade best of my knowledge and experience. I worked with individuals with Developmental Disabilities (Specific Learning Disability, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, Cerebral Palsy, and Down Syndrome) as well as Students with Sensory Impairment (Visual Impairment and Hearing Impairment). Ihave found each individual has his/her own individualized educational enrichment plan with his/her own goals. I am trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (C.B.T), Applied Behaviour Analysis (A.B.A) Therapy, Computer-assist communication, Positive Reinforcement etc. and used all these and other creative ways during my work experience and Internships to reach for Independent living. I’m very dedicated in providing people with the tools and assistive devices to maximize their growth and achieve as much as they can. Also, I am a certified Special Educator and got a license from Rehabilitation of India (R.C.I), India. Currently I’m pursuing Therapeutic Recreation from St. Lawrence College, Kingston. Till now, I gained experience in different settings such as Day Cares, Long Term Cares and District Schools.

I have a graduation and post-graduation in Special Education and have worked with children with multiple disabilities of different age groups for several years.
