My name is Natasha, and I am working on completing my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Calgary.
I am passionate about mental health, and have planned and executed community events that promote inclusivity in wellness industries. I am also a lover of community work, and have had the privilege of co-founding my own University club.
Having have taken many psychology courses which include childhood development, I understand the importance of maintaining a psychologically safe and nurturing environment, and the benefits that it provides infants, children, and adolescents.
I am a lover of all things active! I love to play sports and spend time outside. I also love all things music related such as singing and dancing.
I have had the privilege of working as a camp coordinator, where I planned and executed an entire summer full of activities for over 30 youths! My background in Kinesiology has given me the foundational knowledge regarding the important factors that keep us (and children) living healthy lifestyles! I recognize and value the importance of nutrition, proper sleep, sufficient movement, time in nature, and social connection with others.
My loved ones would describe me as energetic, empathetic, attentive, positive, and supportive. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you would like to chat more, or have further questions
