My name is Dora and I'm currently a Natural science major in the university of Calgary. I'm 18 years of age. I'm from Nigeria, and I recently moved to Canada to further my studies. I come from a family of 4 girls and I’m the second child. I don’t really have a lot of hobbies but I love to cook, listen to music, travel, look after children, go shopping, sing, read and hangout with friends whenever I have the chance. The most important attribute, is to love kids. I love being around children, it's a very great opportunity to learn about them and myself. I'm a very patient and understanding person, and my friends say I act like a mother. I'm always open to learning and working on myself. I love to offer help whenever I can, I can say I'm very philanthropic. I chose childcare as a side hustle, because it’s something I know I'm very good and comfortable with. I’ll also be able to earn money and perfect my skills, if given the chance, in the presence of amazing kids.

I won't say I have professional experience because I’ve never worked officially for people until recently. I’ve mostly babysat for family and friends, but I've always been around kids. I grew up in a fairly large home, so loving kids was a necessity if you wanted to live in peace. I always had visitors come over with their kids, and I would be in charge of them. I also have lots of cousins and family friends with kids. Children are great sources of joy and it makes me feel happy being around them. At the moment, I usually babysit my aunties kids when they’re at work or busy and they range from ages 0-7. I also have family friends that leave their kids with me all the time. I'm very patient with kids and l love them so much because I have younger siblings that I took care of when they were growing up so I basically got used to taking care of children. Also, my aunty just gave birth to a baby boy in February and I’ve been taking care of him so his mum could rest a bit and get back on her feet.
