Monica U.
I’m a Brazilian mother of three adult children who moved to Vancouver to be closer to my granddaughter and to continue my studies in caregiving. In Brazil, I hold a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and have over 20 years of experience in the educational field. I’m currently pursuing my Early Childhood Care diploma and hold valid First Aid certification. I care for a 7-year-old boy, a 12-year-old girl, and my 2-year-old granddaughter. Fluent in Portuguese and English, I’m passionate about creating safe, nurturing, and engaging environments where children can grow and thrive.
When I was in Brazil, I worked as a teacher for more than 20 years, teaching children up to 13 years old. In Vancouver, I take care of two children, aged 12 and 7, and I also look after my granddaughter, who is 2 years and 11 months old.
In Brazil I have a master degree in Early Childhood education. In Vancouver, I am studying to have an ECC diploma.
