I am a mature and responsible caregiver with over 15 years of combined experience as a professional and as a family caregiver, providing care for children and family members. I am fluent in English and Spanish and hold a Caregiver Diploma from Universal Learning Institute in Richmond, BC, along with CPR/First Aid and Food Safe certifications. As a devoted mother of two, whom I raised from birth to adolescence, I have firsthand experience in providing consistent, nurturing, and structured care that supports children’s growth and development. I have also cared for mothers with newborn babies—assisting with diaper changes, dressing, and bottle preparation—and have babysat toddlers and school-aged children at home, sometimes for several days. I enjoy creating routines and engaging activities that encourage learning, creativity, and confidence. I am skilled in supporting children with all aspects of daily care, including hygiene and toilet training, bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. I promote healthy and safe routines that build discipline and stability, while organizing both indoor and outdoor activities that make learning fun. Additionally, I assist with schoolwork and follow up on academic and extracurricular activities to support children’s overall development and success. My experience is for several years of hands-on experience caring for my two children from infancy through adolescence. I have been equipped me with strong skills in creating daily routines, such as bathing, preparing meals, breastfeeding, providing safety space and emotional support. I supported educational development through homework assistance and structured play. I am an accountable professional and mother too. I am currently studying for a Caregiver Diploma, which is enhancing my understanding of child development, nutrition, and safe care practices.
