Luziane S.
In addition to being the proud mother of an amazing 6-year-old girl, I have hands-on experience working with children ranging from 10 months to 10 years old. I’ve had the opportunity to care for children who speak neither English nor my native language, Portuguese—yet through patience, creativity, and empathy, we’ve always managed to connect and have fun while learning together. I’m experienced in diaper changing, daily care routines, educational play, and fostering meaningful connections. I value quality time with the children I care for and approach my work with both responsibility and heart. I truly believe that children are often underestimated—they are incredible beings with so much to offer when we take the time to listen and engage with them. I hold certifications in ECEA Level 2 (Early Childhood Education Assistant), First Aid, Responsible Adult, and Home Daycare. I also volunteer with children at the Journey Home Community, supporting families in transition. I am a non-smoker and do not use any kind of drugs, legal or illegal. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking and running in the park. Originally from Brazil, I’ve been living in Canada for the past three years, and I’m passionate about working with children in a supportive, nurturing, and respectful environment.
As the mother of an amazing 6-year-old girl, I have experience working with children aged 10 months to 10 years old. Some of them do not speak English or my native language, Portuguese. However, we still manage to work well together with responsibility and fun. I have a diploma in ECEA 2 (Early Childhood Education), first aid certification, responsible adult training, and experience in home daycare.
