Hello, How are you I am hoping you are hanging in there. I know this can be a frustrating time for you and your children, it's great that you as a team have decided to seek for help, they were definitely right with the quote "it takes a village to raise your children". on that note I wanted give you some info about me so you can decide if I am a good fit for your family. I am a Canadian Citizen, but I was originally born in Chile, Santiago My family and I came to Canada when I was 8 yrs old. I was raised with great family values which include, mannerism, respect for our elders, picking up after our selves, and of course not to include myself into adult conversations. My mom and dad are still together and I love them very much.. Well with that being said I think its also important for you to know that I adore children of all ages.. In the past I have supported families with children who can demonstrate some extreme behaviors due to their Diagnosed and undiagnosed challenges.. just like how Soccer runs in my blood so does Patience.. I am super open minded, I feel happy with myself and I enjoy working out. my services as a Nanny include: the health and safety of your children, homework supervision, any outdoor activities, local community swimming, fun exercising activities, music and arts support, light household duties including children's laundry. I am also great at potty training as it can become expensive.. In a baby s first year, new parents will have brought home an average of 2, 788 diapers for a total cost of $557. 60 plus more after the first year. every child is a mirror of how you parent them, they mimic and respond in the manners you have demonstrated and or how they have seen it been done. like the quote states 'it takes a village to raise children' this remains very true to me, because we all play a part in it, why not be the best we can be for ourselves so our children can be a positive copy of us. much love to you and your families, If I am what you have been looking for please contact me at anytime, and if you get my voicemail kindly leave me a message. FYI: I commute via bus. My experience is very broad when dealing and caring for children of all ages. Learning each child's personality will guide me in knowing how to best support your child.. for example, to tell a child who clearly demonstrates Attention Deficit Disorder behaviors to sit still and listen to your instruction while the television, and radio is on is probably not the best approach. Minimizing all distractions would be the best approach. When dealing with children giving explanations of why they are being asked to do something is very important when building relationship, this helps for children to build trust with you. When dealing with a chronically crying baby is of course ensuring, baby us fed, changed, burped, and slept.. it is also super important to fulfill all sensory needs, normally things that help with calming down a small baby is; a warm bath, hearing running water, Audio sounds of Ocean, piano, nature over You tube. I have great experience in potty training as well. Doing and getting children involved into creative arts and crafts is also something I adore to do. My name is Mya. I'm 16 and I have a lot of experience babysitting my twin cousins and my little sister. I want to be a babysitter because it's something I've looked forward to doing since I was small. I'm good with kids and very respectful. I can also cook if needed, as I'm quite adept in the kitchen. I can help with chores and homework. While I'm not fluent, I can speak French and I'm good with animals. Unfortunately, as I am only a G1 driver, I can't drive your children anywhere until I've gotten my G2. Lastly, I own a cat and dog, therefore I am able to handle pets. My little sister and I used to play together when we were younger, and I have been babysitting my twin cousins for years.

I am a responsible and caring individual who really enjoys working with children. I am 18 years old and currently getting ready to start college, where I will be studying business. In my free time, I enjoy being active, spending time outdoors, and helping out in my community. I am known for being reliable, organized, and easy to talk to—especially with kids. I take pride in creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment where children can feel comfortable and cared for. Whether it is helping with homework, keeping kids entertained, or sticking to routines, I always do my best to support both the children and their families. I have experience babysitting for families in my neighborhood, caring for children of various ages. I’ve helped with everything from playing games and preparing simple meals to bedtime routines and light homework help. I always make sure the kids feel safe, comfortable, and entertained while following the rules set by their parents. I'm responsible, patient, and genuinely enjoy spending time with children. I’m also good at staying calm in unexpected situations and making sure the environment stays positive and safe. Because of my hands-on experience and reliable nature, I believe I’d be a great fit as a babysitter.

Factors That Impact the Babysitter's Rate in Burlington

When hiring a babysitter or Nanny in Burlington, it's essential to understand the various factors that can influence the salary you'll be paying. Unlike a full-time nanny, a babysitter often works on a more flexible, part-time basis, but several key elements can still affect their hourly rate. Here's a look at the main factors that impact how much you might pay a babysitter. Location Where you live significantly affects how much you'll pay for babysitting services. In high-cost cities like Toronto, Vancouver, or Montreal, babysitters often charge more to align with the higher cost of living. Conversely, in smaller towns or rural areas, the rates are generally lower. Always consider the local market when determining what’s fair to pay a babysitter in your area. Experience and Qualifications A babysitter’s experience and qualifications are crucial factors in determining their rate. Babysitters with several years of experience, certifications in CPR or first aid, or specialized training in early childhood education will typically command higher rates. Parents are often willing to pay more for a sitter who can handle emergencies, manage challenging behaviors, or care for infants and young children with confidence. Number of Children The number of children a babysitter is responsible for directly impacts the rate. Babysitting multiple children requires more attention and energy, and many babysitters charge extra per child. For example, if you're hiring a sitter for three kids instead of one, you should expect to pay more to compensate for the added responsibility. Duration and Time of Day The duration of the babysitting job and the time of day also play a role in determining the rate. Evening or late-night hours, when babysitters might need to stay until midnight or later, often come with higher rates due to the inconvenience. Similarly, if you're asking a sitter to work for an extended period, such as a full day or over a weekend, you may be expected to pay more. Additional Duties Babysitters are primarily responsible for the safety and well-being of the children in their care, but if you're asking them to take on additional tasks, like preparing meals, helping with homework, or tidying up, you should expect to pay a higher rate. These added responsibilities go beyond basic childcare and can increase the overall cost. Short Notice or Special Occasions If you need a babysitter on short notice or for special occasions like holidays or events, be prepared to pay a premium. Babysitters often charge extra for last-minute requests or for working on days when most people would rather have off, such as New Year's Eve or Christmas.

Nanny Payroll & Tax Services in Burlington,Ontario?

As a Canadian employer, you are required to deduct and remit taxes on behalf of your nanny, much like businesses do for their employees. This includes contributions to the Canada Pension Plan (CPP), Employment Insurance (EI), and income tax withholdings. The wages you pay your nanny or babysitter can be claimed as a child care expense on your tax return, reducing your taxable income. We partner with nanny tax & payroll services that simplify the process of nanny tax preparation for a small fee.
