Hello Potential Families! I am a career nanny currently working for a lovely family with a 1 year old baby. This little one will be starting daycare in the new year so I'm on the lookout for another great family who may require my services come February, or on an occasional basis until then. Ideally, I am looking for a mother's helper role with only a baby/toddler at home as I can keep the little one busy with age appropriate educational and fun activities both indoors and outdoors while you work, study, run errands etc. but am flexible for the right family. My most current role is working with a 15 month old baby, working on gross and fine motor skills, speech development, lots of outdoor time and reading, songs and play based learning. Before her I worked with an adorable baby/toddler who has moved away and started daycare. I worked with him for a year, helping him with fine and gross motor skills as well as speech and general, age appropriate development. I am open to different schedules but ideally would not like to exceed 30 hours per week. Please no dogs in the home. Cats are encouraged :) Ideal locations to reduce commute times are: Aldershot, West Burlington, Westdale, west downtown Hamilton (Locke Street, Aberdeen, etc.) or Waterdown. But can be flexible for the right family. I am also open to relocating out west (British Columbia or Alberta) as a live in nanny. Happy to help with laundry and tidying up, but do prefer to center around childcare/development. My interests include travelling, developmental psychology, reading, music, photography and going for walks and exploring my local area. I am mature, responsible, calm, easy going, fun-loving and love spending time outside in any weather, being active and exploring nature with kids. I have a valid driver's license and my own vehicle (in Ontario), over 20 years of experience caring for children ages 9m and up, with varying abilities, and impeccable references. I can drive kids to activities or classes as well (covid safe). I take everyone's health and safety very seriously and am looking for the same in a new family. I'm high risk for severe covid symptoms so would appreciate understanding with this :) I am triple vaccinated but will wear a mask anyways. I am trained in CPI, Epi-pens, First Aid and CPR/AED. I have extensive experience with multiples and special needs children (ASD, Epilepsy, ADHD, Anaphylaxis). I believe I would make an excellent, helpful and reliable addition to your family.
