I stayed home to raise my children and enjoyed it very much, happiest years of my life. Children like me and I like them, and we enjoy excellent mutual rapport. My specialty is infants and toddlers, and I always speak to them and tell them what we are doing so they know what to expect, build their vocabulary and give them choices as to what activity we will be doing and even choosing their own outfits. I am creative and I like to facilitate activities that nourish the mind and fosters recreational engagement. The young person's input is essential as thriving, learning and play therapy are fueled by the creative spirit from within. My experience includes bathing, feeding, putting the infant down for a nap, reassuring the child when he/she wakes and needs a little soothing. Reading to the child, helping with homework, art projects, play acting, Lego, visits to the park, playing with balls, splash-pads, arts and crafts, baking, swing time, slide time, let the games begin.
