I am an outgoing 26 year old with a passion for caring for children who currently is a family and child support worker. I love spending time outdoors, whether it's going for a walk, a bike ride, swimming or playing some sports. I love the arts and enjoy doing crafts. I am very responsible and have lots of experience working with children. I have worked nannying, babysitting, as a teacher's assistant in a school, as a camp counsellor and as a one-to-one support for children with special needs. I have worked as a nanny on and off for 6 years now, working with newborns all the way up to teenagers. Currently, I am employed as a youth support worker and have been in this role for a couple years, where I aid youth dual diagnoses with cognitive disabilities and mental illness. I have worked at multiple summer camps as a camp counsellor as well as kitchen staff and activity coordinator. I also was a one-to-one support fo children with special needs at another camp. I completed 6 weeks of childcare training to obtain these camp positions. I also have babysat for multiple families in my area. I have volunteered in a special needs kindergarten class, helping out the teacher in every way. I also have been a teacher's assistant in the music class at Leslieville Public School, helping to put on the school musical and teaching multiple classes each week.

I completed the C. I. L. T program through Camp Cherith Ontario. It was a 5-week program that took place over two summers including winter work to be completed at home. The training specialized in child care and activity planning for looking after children and entertaining them. I’m currently enrolled at the university of Guelph for my honours bachelor degree.
