I’m Ivy, a warm-hearted and reliable nanny from Burlington, Ontario, with over eight years of professional childcare experience. My approach to childcare is relaxed, nurturing, and child-led. I believe children learn and grow best through free play, exploration, and curiosity, and I provide a safe, supportive environment where they can develop independence and creativity at their own pace. I value consistency and routines while allowing children the space to follow their own interests. Most recently, I cared for two young children, ages 1.5 and 3.5, in a part-time live-out position. I managed all aspects of daily care, including meals, hygiene, dressing, diaper changes, play, and outings to parks and EarlyON centers, while keeping the home organized and tidy. I worked as a Postpartum Doula for three years, supporting families with infants up to a year old. In this role, I provided comprehensive care for babies while assisting with household management, including laundry, meal prep, and general organization. I also have five years of regular babysitting experience, providing care before and after school for children aged 3–12. This included morning and evening routines such as wake-up, hygiene, breakfast and bedtime preparation, school drop-offs and pickups, and supervision during play and homework. In addition to childcare, I have professional experience as a residential cleaner and enjoy helping maintain a clean and organized home. I am available Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., with occasional evening, weekend, or travel availability with prior notice.
