My name is Koa Eve and I am a 21 year old with a passion for helping others and working to make people smile. I have been working as a babysitter for friends and family since I was 13-14 years old. I would care for my sister who is 7 years younger, along with her friends for multiple hours at a time: preparing meals, planning themed activities to keep them entertained and off of devices, etc. I have always loved working with kids, and originally was working towards becoming a teacher through the University of Toronto. Sadly, COVID affected my plans and I had a change of career plans. I am now working towards becoming a 911 Emergency Services Dispatcher and will be graduating from Seneca College this April. I am a very creative individual with a love for reading, writing, learning and speaking new languages, music, and other creative outlets! I also graduated from Algonquin College's Hairstyling Program in 2024 and I am currently registered as an apprentice hairstylist in Ontario- so if your kiddos need help with keeping their hair tidy, I've got you covered! I am certified in: - Standard First Aid and CPR-C through Coast-to-Coast - Multiple Health and Safety certifications required to be a Hairstylist in Ontario (WHMIS, Barbicide, etc.) - APCO Telecommunicator and Law Enforcement Certifications required to be a 911 Dispatcher in Ontario Some classes I have taken to further my learning: - Childhood Development and Family Studies courses in Highschool - ASL 101 through Canadian Hearing Services - French (Grades 4 to 12, and First Year University French) - Mental Health courses through Algonquin College and Seneca College Whether your kiddos need a friend to look after and care for them, a park and playtime buddy, or someone to help with their homework, I would love to help out you and your family!
