Lara S.
I am a university student studying architecture at Waterloo University, looking for a summer babysitting position starting in June. I have a flexible schedule and open availability. I have worked at a bowling alley and arcade, ensuring the safety of children bowling, playing laser tag, and playing arcade games. I am highly organized and timely, ensuring that routines and schedules are adhered to efficiently. I have three younger siblings, two 14 year olds and a 1 year old, and have always helped to look after them whenever my parents were not around, or before school in the morning. Outside of babysitting, I am actively involved in extracurricular activities and have a variety of interests and hobbies. I have volunteered for about four years with the YMCA of Greater Toronto, mentoring newcomer youth and supporting them through art and mental health programs. Additionally, I have a passion for dance and have achieved high scores in pre-professional ballet exams. I easily adapt to new routines and am committed to following your household's rules and values. I'd love the chance to babysit for your family and am happy to meet beforehand to get to know your child/children.
In my previous role, I took care of two boys, aged 1 and 2. My daily responsibilities included taking them to the park, where we enjoyed outdoor play. I prepared nutritious meals and arranged times for naps and bedtime, following a consistent routine to help them sleep soundly. Throughout the day, I maintained an organized schedule to ensure a balanced mix of play, rest, and learning, always prioritizing their well-being and happiness.
