Sawsan E.
I’m Sawsan, a community worker with a background in supporting families and newcomers. I’m trained in family intervention and have experience organizing activities for children of all ages through my work at a community centre. I’m an artsy, creative person at heart—I love drawing, crafting, and coming up with fun hands-on activities that help kids express themselves. I’m patient, calm, and very attentive to each child’s personality and comfort level. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring culture, psychology, and anything visual or creative. I value kindness, communication, and making children feel safe and understood. I’m responsible, reliable, and naturally nurturing, and I truly enjoy being part of a family’s support system.
I have several years of experience working with children in different settings. In my current role at a community centre, I plan and lead group activities for kids, including creative workshops, cultural events, and educational sessions for families. Before that, I worked as a tutor helping elementary and high-school students with homework, language skills, and study habits. I’ve also provided babysitting for families in Canada for about a year, caring for children of various ages, preparing simple meals, helping with routines, and creating a calm and safe environment. These experiences have given me strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to adapt to each child’s needs while keeping them engaged and supported.
