My name is Katie. I'm an 18-year-old social science student at Marianopolis College with a keen interest in child psychology. My love for children and desire to help them has directed my decision to pursue a part-time job as a babysitter rather than working in sectors like hospitality or retail. With 3 years of experience taking care of little ones, ranging from toddlers to children over 10 years, I'm eager to start immediately and escalate my knowledge even further. Through my years of babysitting, I've developed a soft spot for kids and holding much responsibility in aiding their daily activities. Apart from babysitting, I can help lighten your load by performing some light housekeeping duties, running errands, grocery shopping, meal prep for the kids and even handling their laundry. Having my driver's license, my own vehicle, and the ability to travel, I can also assist in transporting the kids whenever required. During the week, my availability varies. You can call on me on Monday mornings, afternoons, and evenings, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, Thursday mornings, and Friday evenings. My schedule is much more flexible during the weekends, as I am available on Saturday and Sunday at any time of the day. I am fully bilingual, able to communicate fluently in both English and French. I am a non-smoker and a confident swimmer, which comes in handy when taking care of children near water bodies. I am also competent in working with children with disabilities. Please note that I am looking for a live-out arrangement and am currently not open to relocation. Also, I am capable of looking after maximum three children simultaneously. In terms of my education, apart from my current college enrollment, I have also graduated from High School, and I have CPR Training certification. Nevertheless, I have not undergone a police check.
