I’m Sarah. I’m a student, recently married, and doing my postgraduate. I earned my bachelor's degree in China, where I also worked part-time with children. As an Early Childhood Educator with 4 vears of experience. I assisted with after school care, tutored the kids in English language (included reading, writing, oral etc) and helped the kids with their assignment. I've also done recent baby sitting jobs since I arrived Canada. If you can text me, I don't mind sharing you clips or pictures to proof. Their parents always leave a good remarks whenever their children are back from holidays because they tell their parents how much they miss “teacher Sarah.” I can do few house chores too and that wouldn’t be a problem. English in China for 5 years + Helped with homework and did after care. Patient, caring and tidy. Well loved by children .

I am a university student studying Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Waterloo looking for a part time job while I am on coop in Mississauga. I enjoy cleaning and tidying. I have helped my parents with housework since I was 13. I am very energetic, I used to be a competitive swimmer. I have experience working with kids. In August of 2018, I worked a total of 152 hours at the Venture summer camp as a Junior Counsellor, or JC. I worked with two other JCs and two Counsellors from the University to manage a group of about 10–15 kids who were in Grades 3 and 4. While managing all the kids and working with the other counsellors, I took on many responsibilities and matured a lot during my 4 weeks as a JC. My roles included teaching the campers and engaging them in the world of computer engineering and computer science. While I was a competitive swimmer I also mentored younger swimmers on the team. I would teach them the skills I learned and also answer questions they had. I would also be there to ensure they were having a good time. I can speak and understand mandarin (unable to read unfortunately) Worked at McMaster Venture and leap summer camp where I assisted the counsellors with managing and teaching the campers who were all around 7-10 yrs old. I was part of the computer engineering camp so I helped the counsellors engage and teach the campers about computers and electronics. I would also ensure that they were being safe and also playing with each other nicely during free time. I was also a bus monitor so I ensured that the campers on my bus got to their respective camp counsellors at the start of the day and back to the bus and back to their parents at the end of the day. I also mentored young swimmers on my competitive swim team. I would teach them the skills I learned from my 9 years of swimming and provide them with answers to any questions they had.
